Homework requests: 2 days absent BUT will be out a total of 3 or more days.
Friday request: won't be available until Monday at end of day. (3:15) If your student will be returning Monday, they will be able to get their homework from their teachers.
If you are requesting work due to short term or long term absences, please know that teachers have the choice of either giving work upon request, or giving work upon a student’s return. Teachers are allowed 24 hours for any requests to be fulfilled. Teachers will communicate back with a parent who has emailed their request directly to them by either turning in work to the office to be picked up, or by communicating that work will be given upon return.
After 24 hours has passed, the front office person initiating the request will contact home indicating that either work is available to be picked up, or that each teacher has communicated back that work will be given upon return. If work is to be given upon return, the student has the same number of days to make up the work as the number of days they've been absent. If requests are made directly to teachers (and not through the front office), then teachers will communicate back to the home within 24 hours in the same way as outlined above.
The same procedures above apply to students suspended out of school.
Teachers need to provide work to Ruben for students while they are in the in school suspension room.
Thank you for your cooperation!
